Functional Analyst GIS - Energy

Join Line Corner Consulting as a Functional/Business Analyst GIS and help shape innovative digital solutions for the energy sector. Act as the bridge between business and IT, leveraging GIS and geospatial data to support the transformation of energy networks and contribute to the energy transition.

Line Corner Consulting supports key players in the energy transition in delivering strategic, business and digital projects.

We are looking for a Functional/Business Analyst with an interest in GIS solutions to strengthen our team and support our clients in implementing and evolving their geospatial solutions.

Your role

As a Functional/Business Analyst GIS, you act as the bridge between business and technical teams, translating operational needs into effective functional and digital solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Gather and translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories.
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of GIS solutions.
  • Follow up on developments and integrations with technical teams.
  • Coordinate functional and acceptance testing.
  • Collaborate with business teams, developers, architects and other stakeholders.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, geography, geomatics, engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Business Analysis, Functional Analysis or a similar role.
  • Experience in consulting or within a large organisation is a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work at the intersection of business and IT.
  • Knowledge of GIS and geospatial data (ArcGIS, QGIS or equivalent) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, functional documentation, data flows, APIs and application integrations.
  • Autonomous, proactive and comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in French and professional English. Knowledge of Dutch is a strong asset.
